We are college students who want to make an impact. In the wake of this pandemic, we saw firsthand the negative impact it had on learning. This transition disproportionately affects underprivileged students. We are a resource for those students, to remind them they are not alone, and to support them through tutoring and mentorship so that they may be successful.
We are not only tutors, we are also allies that students can come to get advice about school, their future upon graduating high school, and/or anything they are struggling with. The benefit of being founded on the concept of near-peer support and mentorship allows for the development of powerful and meaningful relationships to be cultivated where the focus is centered around the student’s success and wellbeing.
We serve underprivileged students. Underprivileged students are those who come from low income households or have issues with learning such as attention disorders or learning disabilities. We believe these students are already at a disadvantage, and with the move to online learning and uncertainty in the foreseeable future, learning has become even more difficult. If you fit these criteria, we strongly encourage you to apply and use our free service.
